Read your Coin balance, collect, then check the balance again. This gives you a useful starting point for the next purchase without assuming a fixed earning rate.

Separate hatching from Zone progress
Hatching Eggs grows your Pet collection; Zone unlocking moves you into a new area. Before purchasing, compare the displayed hatch cost with the requirement at the next Zone entrance.

Recheck after a purchase
Look at the balance remaining after a hatch or unlock. Choose the next target from that new balance, rather than continuing with the amount you had before spending.
